New staff member at GGG

Since December 1, 2018, Judith Wassiltschenko has been working at GGG office. She is in charge of the PhD Funding Guidance and the Helpdesk for International PhD students. Thus, she is your contact for all general questions on starting, conducting and finishing PhD studies at the graduate school. The support at GGG is an additional offer complementing the professional support of the supervising teachers and the administrative supervision of the respective faculties.

Judith Wassiltschenko gives advice on support measures at GGG, within Göttingen University and from other institutions. She can help you with the search for a scholarship donor and also with application for grants.

Team_WassiltschenkoFurthermore, she is the contact person for international PhD students for all sorts of questions, e.g. on German Academia, residence permissions, funding options etc. Judith Wassiltschenko cooperates closely with university institutions such as the other graduate schools, Göttingen International (i.e. international office), the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Unit and many more, so that she can provide you with up-to-date information and further contacts if needed. Consultation is strictly confidential and third parties are only informed upon your consent.

Open office hours for the PhD Funding Guidance and the Helpdesk for International PhD students are on Tuesdays, 8.30 am to 10.00 am. At that time, interested students can get consultation without prior notice. In addition, flexible dates can be arranged via e-mail.
