Corona-related emergency grant
The GGG awards emergency grants to PhD students in Social sciences, Law, and Economics who have come into an unforeseeable emergency through no fault of their own. Such an emergency can also be recognized as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, provided that this delay has a directly understandable effect on the doctorate and not only on living conditions in general. This includes difficulties that directly affect research or publication (such as mandatory research trips and research stays that have been postponed, closed field research facilities, unexpected termination of the scholarship). When applying, it must be clearly stated to what extent and how long the doctoral project as a whole could not be carried out and how this delay can be attributed to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
