Support Measures
The Göttingen Graduate School of Social Sciences provides support measures and scholarships for PhD students of social sciences. In November the application for the Dorothea-Schlözer Mentoring Program has started. The GGG offers some grants with flexible application possibilities, too.

Dorothea-Schlözer mentoring program
- for female late-stage PhD students and postdocs aiming for a career in academia
- deadline: Nov 30, 2020
family oriented completion grant
- for PhD students caring for children or relatives in need of care and thus needing more time to complete their PhD thesis
- deadlines: Jan 15 and June 15, 2021
- for international PhD students who completed their dissertation and need assistance with language revision, or who are still in the writing process and need writing advisory sessions
- deadlines: Jan 15 and June 15, 2021
- International PhD students in need of financing in order to complete their PhD thesis
- Deadlines: Jan 15 and app. April 26, 2021
- for PhD students who get in unpredictable financial need they are not responsible for and need support to

- for PhD Students, who would like to do research in close cooperation with an enterprise in southern Lower Saxony (via SNIC)
