GGG’s Support Measures
The Göttingen Graduate School of Social Sciences provides support measures and scholarships for PhD students of social sciences. At the moment GGG offers new support for your qualification and networking activities as well as some grants with flexible application possibilities.

The following funding options are available in the upcoming months:
Family Oriented Completion Grant
- for PhD students caring for children or relatives in need of care and thus needing more time to complete their PhD thesis
- deadline: June 15, 2022
Completion Grant to international PhD students
- for international PhD students, who are ready to complete their thesis
- deadline: June 15, 2022 (for 3 months maximum in 2022)
Self organized qualification and networking
- for PhD students who want to learn more about methods and research options within their peer group and maybe with an external lecturer
- application any time
- networking and expertise for PhD students working on similar topics
- application any time
- for international PhD students who completed their dissertation and need assistance with language revision, or who are still in the writing process and need writing advisory sessions
- application any time in 2022
