New PhD Representatives

The PhD representatives play an important role as the contact person for PhD students of social sciences and give them a voice in the graduate school, the university and in the general public. Furthermore, the representatives are an active part of the Executive Board of the graduate school and represent the interests of all different PhD students in the social sciences.
All PhD student representatives at one of the three GGG´s faculties are members of the GGG Executive Board as well. They participate in the meetings and decisions of GGG and are entitled to vote there.
The current PhD representatives are Jannik Scherer of the Faculty of Law as well as Samira Mummelthey and Campbell MacGillivray of the Faculty of Social Sciences. They will work together in order to improve the qualifcation program of GGG, to support the networking of PhD students and any other issue you may call them for. They are members of the network of PhD representatives of all faculties and will nominate the PhD speaker of the whole university, too.
