Support Measures

NL_FoerderungenThe Göttingen Graduate School of Social Sciences provides funding and scholarships for PhD students of social sciences. In 2017 you can still apply for a “Praxismodul“ and for support concerning a PhD students‘ forum. Furthermore, in order to help you planning we inform you about grants and support measures with upcoming deadlines in early 2018.

Family oriented finishing grant 4 – 6 months 15.01.2018 € 1,200 / month plus child benefit PhD students caring for children or relatives in need of care and thus needing more time to complete their PhD thesis
Finishing grant 3 – 6 months 15.01.2018 € 1,200 / month plus child benefit where required Foreign PhD students in need of financing in order to complete their PhD thesis
Research Assistantships 3 months à 20 h 15.01.2018 € 308 pre-tax x 3 months academic assistant Foreign PhD students who carry out a threemonthly research project
