Expansion of Praxismodule

Starting October 2018, two additional Praxismodule will be launched in cooperation with Regionalverband Braunschweig (organization responsible for regional land-use planning and public transport in Braunschweig) and Göttinger Verkehrsbetriebe (Göttingen public transportation services). These Praxismodule, as practical projects, facilitate knowlegde transfer between university and professional practice, strengthen the connection between professional partners and science and also open up further professional fields outside academia. From 2017 to 2019, Praxismodule are funded by Volkswagen Foundation.

Right now, 9 Praxismodule with members of the faculties of Law, Social Sciences and Economic Sciences as well as members of the MPI for Dynamics and Self-Organisation and the HAWK are taking part.

Further PhD students are cordially invited to become associates at Praxismodule, as they can benefit from improved networking in a peer group and access to detailed information on professional careers outside academia.
