Week of Methods 2019 (July 22 to 25, 2019)
We continue our long tradition again this year: The 14th Week of Methods will take place from July 22 until 25 at the Convention Center by the Observatory. As usually, you can choose from four parallel method-workshops in order to broaden your methodological knowledge in an interdisciplinary way:
- Workshop 1: Design Science Research – How to Scientifically Solve Problems? (Dr. Alfred Benedikt Brendel, Göttingen)
- Workshop 2: Rigorous Impact Evaluation: Randomized Control Trials and Non-experimental Methods (Prof. Dr. Andreas Landmann, Göttingen)
- Workshop 3: Grounded Theory: Eine Einführung unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Situationsanalyse nach Adele E. Clarke (Dr. Yvonne Franke, Göttingen)
- Workshop 4: Socio-Legal Lab: An Introduction to Law in Action (Lisa Hahn, Siddarth de Souza)
The Week of Methods will open with the keynote by Dr. Daniela Heitzmann, Göttingen: „Diversity and the Power of Numbers: A Critical Perspective on Statistics and Politics in Higher Education”.
The registration period for the 14th Week of Methods is open from 14 May until 16 June 2019.
