Coimbra Group Winter School „Global Change and the COVID-19 Pandemic in Africa – Chances or Challenges?“ (starting on Feb 1, 2021)

During this winter school, you will get to learn about impacts, challenges and responses related to Covid-19 and Africa thanks to a range of experts who are teaching and researching at Coimbra Group (CG) and African universities.

Following their talks, and with extra material (articles) they will provide you, you will get to choose a group/topic/tandem and study collectively in a group of 10, what responses and solution-based proposals could be presented to the European Union and to the African Union on the chosen topic.

You get to network with fellow students from both continents and excellent professors who will guide you in elaborating a proposed strategy and learn from the current pandemic. The working language will be English.
