Good Scientific Practice

The Ombuds Office for Good Research Practice has published a short information sheet especially for PhD students in 2022.

In a more detailed manner the updated Rules of the University of Göttingen Governing the Safeguarding of Good Research Practice  define standards for all steps of the research process in an elaborated manner and are adjusted to the DFG codex. It also provides guidelines for teaching good scientific practice, supervision and support of young researchers, promoting equal opportunities in all areas of scientific action, performance assessment and reviewing as well as leadership responsibilities and cooperation in research. The rules are binding for everyone at Göttingen University.
