Schedule for the next Week of Methods

The next interdisciplinary Week of Methods will take place September 05 to 08, 2022. At the moment we are optimistically planning to meet in presence. The event will be organized based on the ongoing safety regulations in accordance with the corona crisis. If neccesary we will switch the Week of Methods to an online event.

As usually, you can choose from four parallel method-workshops in order to broaden your methodological knowledge in an interdisciplinary way:

  • Workshop 1: Mixed Methods Designs planen und umsetzen (Dr. Felix Knappertsbusch, Hamburg)
  • Workshop 2: Visual Network Research – A theoretical and methodological Introduction (PD Dr. Markus Gamper, Köln)
  • Workshop 3: “Why am I doing research again?” Ethics and Responsibilities in Qualitative Research (Dr. Olaf Tietje, München)
  • Workshop 4: Introduction to quantitative research designs (Dr. Maike Greve und Kristin Masuch, Göttingen).

The Week of Methods will open with the keynote by Dr. Katharina Beier on „With Good Research Practice through your doctoral studies“.

The registration period for the 14th Week of Methods is open from 07 June until 03 July.
